Dear friends and kind-hearted people,
My name is Amanda Silva, and today I'm writing with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. My dog Nina, a mixed-breed pup just 2 years old whom I rescued from the streets as a puppy, is fighting for her life right now.
Last week, I noticed she was quieter than usual. She didn't run to greet me at the door as she always did, barely touched her food, and her favorite toys no longer sparked her interest. When she started whimpering in pain, I immediately took her to the vet.
The diagnosis was devastating: an aggressive abdominal tumor that is growing rapidly, causing intense pain and already creating a partial intestinal blockage. Without immediate surgery, the veterinarians give no hope of survival beyond the next few hours.
Nina has been my faithful companion during the most difficult moments of my life. When I lost my job last year and faced severe depression, she was the one who gave me reasons to get out of bed every day. Her unconditional love and cheerful energy brought me back to life.
Now it's my turn to fight for her, but unfortunately I can't do it alone. The cost of emergency surgery, medications, and post-operative care is far beyond what I can afford right now. I've already sold personal belongings and borrowed what I could, but we're still far from the amount needed.
Each donation, regardless of the amount, means a few more minutes, hours, or if we're lucky, years of life for my little Nina. I promise complete transparency with the funds raised and will share updates on her health status.
Nina deserves a chance to live. If you can help, know that you'll be saving not just her life, but also a piece of mine.
With gratitude and hope,
Amanda Silva
